Biography

My name is Mark Teie, a senior at Wakefield School in The Plains, Virginia. I am committed to attend James Madison University next year, majoring in Political Science and Pre-Law. Music plays a significant role in my life as it does to so many people. I thoroughly enjoy sitting back and listening to classic tunes so when my dad first introduced me to The Beatles I was immediately drawn to their unique styles and their lovable personalities. I was interested in digging deeper into how the band changed over time through the releases of new albums and how John, Paul, George, and Ringo each contributed to the group. This is an important topic to me because The Beatles are the most influential music group of the last century and it is crucial to evaluate such success and see how it came to be.
